Gerbode Valley Trail Car Park across from Presidio Riding Club

Because of the SF Marathon that day, we are going to meet at Gerbode Valley Trail Car park. It is opposite the Presidio Riding club. The Golden Gate Bridge is open for vehicular traffic, at 7:45 and ride to Green Gulch Zen Center in Marin. Green Gulch is open to the public and Sunday is the day of the public program. There’s meditation at 9:15 a.m., followed by a dharma talk at 10:15, a small farmers market and lunch served for donation at 12:15. Here’s a link with more information: http://sfzc.org/green-gulch/zen-meditation-practice/sunday-program-link
Depending on the consensus, we can stay for part or all of the program. Afterwards I am suggesting we choose between an out and back to Sausalito (approximately 30 miles and 2,450 feet of climbing round trip) or we could continue from Green Gulch to Stinson Beach, climb up Panoramic Highway to Pantoll and then down to Mill Valley where we will return along the same route we started out from (approximately 44 total miles and 4,500 feet elevation gain)
Take a look at the routes and we can discuss on the day. Please bring water bottles, a helmet, a well-maintained bike and a smile. If you are interested please sign up on the Dharmawheels website or check out the Facebook page. Feel free to contact me at steviealtman@mac.com or 415-305-7787
As you cross the Golden Gate Bridge northwards, take Alexander Avenue and take Bunker Hill Road through the tunnel and continue until you see stables on your left and a carpark almost straight away after on your rig
